You are invited to dive into the beautiful art of explorative and expressive movement. You are welcome and also encouraged to connect with the music, to be authentic and to move your body (or not move) however you feel most organically pulled.

CANDLELIT CACAO
CEREMONY

A cacao ceremony is an ancient tradition, that involves drinking ceremonial cacao (pure, unprocessed chocolate) in an intentional setting. This is an opportunity to tune into your heart and inner world. There will be candles and soft music, offering a cozy, soulful, grounding experience.

LAKE OVID ISLAND HIKE

This 2.4-mile loop trail is a beautiful trail, located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Enjoy your walk over gentle terrain and a bridge to explore Lake Ovid's very own personal island. This is a fantastic way to start a new year, connecting with nature and the surrounding elements.

3 SOUND JOURNEYS

Journey into deep meditative states through a vast spaciousness and the world of sound. Enjoy an immersive experience, intended to foster heart-opening experiences. Each sound journey is approximately 30 minutes.

BELONGING WORKSHOP

Diving into one of our greatest human strengths, we remember our truest sense of belonging. This workshop, involving group discussions and partner exercises, is designed to help us overcome obstacles on our paths and discover the art of being seen.

Most of our menu is vegetarian. Enjoy nourishing and delicious food throughout your entire retreat. All meals are cooked with mindfulness and love.

This charming Inn offers a taste of life on Main Street, a formal banquet space, catering kitchen, large game room and more. This is the perfect space to gather for celebrations, retreats, reunions and more, where there is plenty of space for everyone to rest, regroup and have fun.

Adam Boettger founded Sacred Sojourn, an international events company where he facilitates transformative experiences worldwide that concentrate on the art and soul of sacred living. His other work includes creating the production company, Anahata Productions, and writing / publishing the auto-biographical story, I Love.

REGISTRATION & PRICING

A non-refundable deposit of $450 is required to reserve your spot. You can submit a half-deposit, and the other half within 30 days if requested. Then, you can pay in full or enroll in a monthly payment plan, which will include a 3% surcharge. You have the option to stay on-site or off-site for this retreat.

  • On-Site: Choose from one of the lodging options below, which also includes the entire Itinerary and All Meals.

 

  • Off-Site: Purchase a General Admittance ticket, which includes the entire Itinerary and All Meals, while staying at your own nearby accommodation. We do have other lodging recommendations available upon request.

All payments must be complete at least 45 days before our event begins. There are limited spots available, as this keeps our retreat safe and sacred. To sign up for this retreat, please complete our Registration Form.

Cancellation Policy:  With the exception of the non-refundable deposit, you are eligible for a refund until 180 days (July 1, 2025) before our event start date. If you find someone to claim your spot with approval by Sacred Sojourn, a refund will be made available.

FAQs
 

Where is this retreat?  Ovid, Michigan.

When to arrive? Check-in is at 4pm on December 31, 2025. If you wish to stay nearby, please ask for our other lodging recommendations.

How do I get to this event?  Please drive yourself to the event or carpool with others. Parking will be available on-site.

How do early-bird discounts work?  Early-bird discounts are "first come, first serve." We have a total of 6 discounts.

 

How do payment plans work?  Payment plans are monthly (payments due the 1st of each month) and include a 3% surcharge.

When does registration close?  You can register for this event at anytime. However, most of our events do sell out. If you are interested, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

When to leave?​  Departures are at 1pm on January 2, 2026.

What to bring?  All of this information will be shared before our retreat.

What to not bring?  Do not bring alcohol, illegal substances, children, pets, bad vibes or drama.

What is the Prosperity Program?  We believe abundance is a gift to be shared — that is why we will pay you $50 for every person you successfully refer to this retreat (regardless if you attend or not).

What is this retreat actually like?  Some people come for relaxation, to pause, to explore or go within. Some are seeking a grand experience or to reshape their life. People from all walks of life, of all ages, colors, sizes, and backgrounds come together. This is a space to be authentically who you are.

What will the food be like?  All food will be vegetarian. We can accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. We can also provide more protein options for an additional cost.

 

Will there be photography or videography?  Some of our events include a photographer or videographer, who is there to capture promotional material for future events. 

I want to come, but I'm resistant...  We invite you to ask yourself: why? Then we encourage you to reach out with questions you have. If this event calls to you, there is likely a reason. From time to time, we need to shake up our lives up by saying yes!

Do people come solo?  Many people come solo. We encourage others to embrace the wonder and mystery of a solo experience. 

Is there a minimum age requirement?  For this retreat, all participants must be 18+. Exceptions may apply.

Are newbies welcome?  Absolutely. If this is your first retreat, we are beyond excited to have you!
